Little Anya turns two !

Hello folks ! Little Anya turned two on 25th of January. Her birthday celebrations began already on the 24th and continued till the 26th ! Let us take you through those three days of merrymaking. It began with Busbörgen, where Little Anya spent roughly three hours having a lot of fun .
The 25th had quite a royal beginning, Little Anya's excitement knew no bounds when she got a birthday cap and a big blue gift box to open.
The gift opening was full of excitement and needless to say brought along considerable sound effects. The gift box opened into a teaset that Little Anya used to feed her animals with. At this point in time, Little Anya's house looks more like a wildlife sanctuary, she has quite a collection of bears, dogs, elephants and even a lion for that matter. One can imagine how busy Little Anya might get feeding even a few of those.

The highlight of the evening was a hectic construction activity followed by prompt demolition. Little Anya's parents made a few houses and castles for her and she enjoyed razing them to ground. Incidentally, below, Little Anya is sporting an antenna on her head. Her parents have been trying this on an experimental basis, you will soon get to read an entire blog posting dedicated to this new look.

Then came the occassion with the cake. Little Anya surprised everyone by informing them with gestures that the candles had to be lit so that she could hurry up the proceedings !

Little Anya had a visit from Rahul kaka & Ashwini kaku. Our readers might like to know that kaku had quite a contribution in the making of chocolate cake.

Ofcourse the candle business was conducted in close supervision of Mammmaaa. Little Anya managed after a few tries with the first candle.
and shortly thereafter with the second one...
That was quite a sense of achievement for Little Anya and time almost stood still since it took her a while to realise that the next step was to dig into the cake.
Once the cake was cut, Little Anya had quite a feast and was very busy chomping on to the cake. Since everyone was busy with the cake, a loud silence ensued. Very soon the cake was decimated and followed a civilised discussion on who had had the lion's share. There was a lot of finger pointing and pleading innocent but that did not quite distract Little Anya. She was rather focussed.

Little Anya was so excited that her Mammaa and Pappaa decided to carry forward another big present to the coming evening. A lot of activity and attention mixed cake was quite a '7% solution' for Little Anya on her birthday. Next evening, again came out the birthday hat and two gift boxes..The presents were opened with the same haste as always.

...and Little Anya was quite surprised to see the wooden train. Her parents promptly assembled the tracks for her and Little Anya started having a very good time.
As our readers might already have guessed, the tracks and the structures around it did get whacked a number of times. After a million of those accidents and the entire district population having been reduced to half, her parents decided to simplify the tracks , shorten them and make them more robust so as to get an 'Anya safe certification' in the inspection.

Those three days were amazing and Little Anya's parents relished all the attention they got from Little Anya and all those smiles and gestures have already gone down in the memories as gold moments.
